In today’s Biz Bits: Two workout studio grand openings, a new place to get your watch fixed, and a tip on free parking in downtown Decatur.
Pure Barre Decatur is holding a grand opening Friday, September 25 from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. at its 415 Church Street studio.
Pure Barre promises, “There will be sweets, give-a-ways, and champagne!” Attendees are asked to RSVP to email@example.com.
The fitness studio, which touts workouts based around the ballet barre, opened in Decatur in May.
Pace23, another exercise studio that just opened in Decatur, is holding its grand opening ceremony Saturday, September 26. Co-owner Emily Kinley told Decaturish there will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony and cocktail party for founding members who contributed to the studio’s Indiegogo campaign. Pace23 is an indoor cycling and TRX studio, located at 138 New Street in Decatur. Kinley and co-owner Laura Wheeler told Decaturish clients can sign up for classes online so there’s no worry about showing up to class and not being able to find a bike.
Sunshine Jewelry and Watch Repairs is now open in the former Cozee Teas location on East Ponce. A sign outside the store said business hours are Monday-Saturday 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. and Sunday 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Decatur’s new Smoothie King is offering free Saturday parking for two hours with a $5 purchase. An employee told Decaturish the offer is for The Artisan parking deck. The new Smoothie King opened July 15 of this year.
