People who want to vote in the Nov. 3 elections should register today, if they have not already done so.

The official cut off day is Monday, Oct. 5. To register to vote or update your voter information, click here.

Early voting will be held at 4380 Memorial Drive, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 12 through Oct. 30.

It will be a large ballot this year. There are contested City Commission races in Decatur and Avondale Estates. There are also referendums on the proposed cities of Tucker and LaVista Hills. In Decatur, there will be a referendum on whether City Schools of Decatur can borrow $75 million for school construction.

People who wish to vote will need to bring one of the following forms of identification, according to the Georgia Secretary of State’s office:

– Any valid state or federal government issued photo ID, including a free ID Card issued by your county registrar’s office or the Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS)

– A Georgia Driver’s License, even if expired

– Valid employee photo ID from any branch, department, agency, or entity of the U.S. Government, Georgia, or any county, municipality, board, authority or other entity of this state

– Valid U.S. passport ID

– Valid U.S. military photo ID

– Valid tribal photo ID
