Hundreds of people came to Oakhurst over the weekend to volunteer during the 14th annual Martin Luther King Jr. Service Project. Thirty three homeowners had help cleaning up and cleaning out their homes as volunteers painted, raked, swept, and worked in crawl spaces and attics. Volunteers repaired ceilings and bathrooms, refinished cabinets and did so much more.
Volunteers are still needed for Monday, Jan. 18, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. For more information on how to volunteer, click here.
