DeKalb Strong hosting candidate forum on April 30

The group that led the opposition to the creation of new cities in DeKalb County is also working to improve county government.
DeKalb Strong is hosting a candidate forum on April 30, and many of the candidates in the upcoming May 24 primary have confirmed their attendance. It will be held Saturday, April 30, at Rehoboth Baptist Church, 2997 Lawrenceville Hwy, Tucker, GA 30084. The event begins at 2 p.m. and ends at 4 p.m.
The forum will offer voters an opportunity to meet the candidates in the contested elections. Early voting begins May 2.
“We are very pleased to be able to present this opportunity to our community. We are also honored that Rehoboth Baptist Church is lending their facilities for the event,” DeKalb Strong President Marjorie Snook said in a press release.
