DeKalb County is notifying residents about two upcoming road closures.

The county says East Clifton Road, near Emory Village, will be closed on May 31 from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. from Clifton Road to Coventry Road. The closure is to allow for a crane to remove a tree at 1771 E. Clifton Road N.E.

According to the county, on June 9, Burlington Place N.E. will be closed from Emory Circle N.E. to Ridgewood Drive from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. to allow for a removal of a tree at 1811 Burlington Place N.E.

“Road closure and detour signs will be placed in the area during the road closure period advising motorists of construction work in the area and of local traffic restrictions,” the county says.
