DeKalb County Police say a man was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital after he was shot in the parking lot of the AutoZone on Candler Road.

The man is in stable condition.

The incident happened around 1:50 p.m. on May 19.

Maj. Stephen Fore with the DeKalb County Police Department said it was, “a dispute between known parties.” The suspect fled in a burgundy Nissan Maxima, he said.

The investigation is ongoing.
