The Medlock Area Neighborhood Association reports that a developer is planning a five-story Marriott Hotel for the intersection of Scott Boulevard and Blackmon Drive.

PSH Decatur LLC intends to submit a Rezoning and Special Land Use Permit application to DeKalb County for the project.

Decaturish left a message with the company and MANA representatives seeking comment.

“There are several concerns about this proposal,” MANA writes on its website. “We urge our community to attend the meeting scheduled for June 1, 2016, 7 p.m., at the North Decatur Unived Methodist Church, 1523 Church Street.”
