Decatur man was witness to Orlando shooting

A Decatur resident witnessed the aftermath of a massacre at a gay nightclub in Orlando, Fla., that claimed the lives of over 50 people and wounded many more.
The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports that witness Nic Hornstein is a Decatur resident. According to his Twitter account, he was on the roof of a tattoo shop near the Pulse nightclub. He posted video and pictures throughout the June 12 incident.

Atlanta INtown reports that mourners held a vigil at 10th Street and Piedmont Avenue in Midtown Atlanta on the evening of June 12, writing that Midtown is “considered the heart of Intown’s LGBT community.”
