Decatur residents may have noticed film trucks parked on West Ponce de Leon today, June 15, a not uncommon occurrence.

According to Shirley Baylis, Special Events and Community Outreach Coordinator with the city of Decatur, a movie titled “Felt” is filming at the DeKalb History Center, located in the historic DeKalb County courthouse on the square.

The only upcoming movie with that title listed on Internet Movie Database is a film about Mark Felt. He was revealed to be the mysterious source known as “Deep Throat,” who helped Washington Post reporters Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein uncover the Watergate fiasco which led to the resignation of president Richard Nixon.
