Savor Wine Boutique in Kirkwood Station on Hosea Williams Drive has closed its doors for good.

A person who answered the phone on June 29 said the store had closed on Sunday, June 26. Attempts to reach the owners have been unsuccessful. A sign hanging in the door says, “Sorry our store is closed. Thanks for three great years in Kirkwood.”

The store opened in November of 2013. It was owned by Kyla and Greg Cox. Kyla Cox was the founder of Grape Crush Productions the producer of the Buckhead Wine Festival. The store seemed like a natural fit for Kirkwood, which hosts a wine stroll in front of Kirkwood Station each year.

As of July 7, the owners had not posted any messages on social media or on the store’s website announcing the closing.
