Rising Son now serving dinner
Avondale Estates’ Rising Son restaurant has extended its hours and will now be serving dinner.
In a post on Facebook, the restaurant said, “We will be opening for dinner Wednesday the 17th @5pm. Our dinner service hours will be Wednesday-Saturday 5 p.m. -9 p.m. Stop by to enjoy Rising Son in a different light.”

Rising Son’s breakfast fare has seen a successful run in Avondale Estates. The restaurant is in the space on North Avondale Road formerly occupied by The Bishop, which closed last year. The owners are Hudson and Kathryn Rouse. Hudson Rouse is a former chef at Homegrown and Kathryn Rouse is responsible for craft sodas at the General Muir and Yalla.
