DeKalb Police Department herds cows

The DeKalb County Police Department had its hands full on Saturday, Jan. 7.
Nine cows got loose on Covington Highway and DeKalb Medical Parkway. The department documented the cow caper via its Twitter account.

The Police Department managed to corral the cows into a nearby Kroger using shopping carts.

11 Alive reports that neighbor’s dog helped police herd the animals. The owner of the cows has not been located.
