Fulton County’s Department of Health and Wellness heavily encourages locals without insurance to visit one of their five health centers to sign up for free. Each location has licensed health navigators available to help clients choose the best health insurance plan and to request financial assistance as needed.

In order to register for health insurance coverage with the Affordable Care Act (ACA), visit www.healthcare.gov for an application. The cut off for 2017 is Jan. 31.

Those eligible for ACA must be a resident of Georgia, U.S. citizen or a U.S. naturalized citizen.

According to a press release from Fulton County’s Health and Wellness Department, “since open enrollment began in November, hundreds of residents have been assisted by the Fulton County navigators.” In order to get assistance from a licensed health navigator, visit one of the following locations at the listed date/time.
