MARTA Listening Sessions invites patrons and local residents to provide their input on possible expansion projects.

MARTA’s expansion received funding back in November 2016 with “the half-penny sales tax referendum,” which passed with the support of almost 75 percent of Atlanta voters. The Listening Sessions were put in place to gain insight to what “type of service that you would like to see in your community.”

On Wednesday, Jan. 18, a meeting will be held at the MARTA Headquarters on Piedmont Rd. from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

If you can’t attend the Wednesday meeting, on Thursday, Jan. 19, two meetings will be held at Atlanta’s City Hall on 68 Mitchell St. from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
