The city of Decatur is warning residents about an upcoming lane closure.

Starting Monday, Jan. 30, through Feb. 2, one eastbound lane of East Trinity Place at East Howard Avenue will close due to work connecting a new sewer line on Howard Avenue to the existing sewer line. The work is taking place between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. each day. Two-way traffic will be maintained at all times on East Trinity Place, the city’s press release says.

“To minimize impacts, the work has been scheduled to avoid morning and afternoon rush hours,” the press release says.
