A new church opening in Decatur describes itself as “a place where women preach.”

The Church of Mary Magdalene is meeting Wednesdays at 7 p.m. at 701 West Howard Avenue in Decatur.

The co-pastors are Ashley Wilcox and Hannah Hill.

“Our worship includes singing, scripture, a prepared message, 20-30 minutes of silent worship, an offering, and prayer. Everyone is welcome,” the announcement says. “Contact us at [email protected] or through facebook: www.facebook.com/ChurchOfMaryMag
