People watching the “Jeopardy!” college championship this week will have a local contestant to root for.

Lilly Chin is a senior at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and hails from greater Decatur. Her parents are professors at Emory University. She attended the Westminster Schools. The College Championship begins Feb. 13 and lasts for two weeks. The winner will receive $100,000. The show airs on WXIA-TV, 11 Alive, and starts at 7:30 p.m.
