Mary Mack, City Schools of Decatur’s Director of Elementary Education, is leaving the school system after 28 years.

Mack has held other titles in CSD over the years including teacher, principal and director. She’s been working in the education field for 41 years, according to Superintendent David Dude.

“It will certainly be hard not seeing Mary’s smiling face in our office and around the district, but we wish her much happiness in her well-deserved retirement,” Dude said in a Facebook post.
