National Weather Service warns weather could bring tornadoes

The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for Atlanta on Wednesday, April 5, and it is not looking good.

“Scattered to numerous severe thunderstorms” are expected throughout the day and evening on Wednesday.

“Damaging winds, large hail, several tornadoes and frequent lightning will be the main hazards,” the National Weather Service says. “Heavy rain can also be expected with minor flooding possible.”
