Decatur-based transgender support group holds first meeting May 6

A Decatur-based support group for transgender individuals and their friends and families will hold its first meeting May 6 at Decatur First United Methodist Church.
The group, TransDecatur, came about after a successful Transgender Identity Seminar in February according to group member Quinn Hudson. His youngest son is Wallace transgender.
Saturday’s meeting begins at 4 p.m. The group will meet on the first Saturday of each month.
