Registration is still open for the Wylde Center’s summer camp

The Wylde Center’s Oakhurst Garden is gearing up for the June 2017 day camp.

For a week out of the summer, PreK and elementary-aged campers will “explore the urban greenspace’s native woods, creek and farm.”

According to the Wylde Center’s website, “activities may include planting, preparing and tasting fresh organic food, creek walks, salamander hunts, arts and crafts and other fun educational activities.” Additionally, every camp session will end on Friday at the Center’s Hawk Hollow site.

The camp schedule and its pricing goes as follows:

– June 5-9 is for age K-1st grade. Camp will be held from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. The cost is $225 for Wylde Center members and $250 for non-members.

– June 12-16 is for PreK students. Camp will be held from 9 a.m. – noon. The cost is $150 for Wylde Center members and $175 for non-members.

– June 19-23 is for students in grades 2-3. Camp will be held from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. The cost is $225 for Wylde Center members and $250 for non-members.

– June 26-30 is for students in grades 4-5. Camp will be held from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. The cost is $225 for Wylde Center members and $250 for non-members.
