On May 20, Kirkwood is bringing back the Kirkwood Spring Fling & Tour of Homes for its 15th year.
Hosted at Bessie Branham park, located at 2051 Delano Drive in Atlanta, the Kirkwood Spring Fling is a kid-friendly event, featuring an “expanded artist market, diverse lineup of live music, creative kids’ activities, Blue Ribbon BBQ Cookoff and Tour of Homes.”
The schedule is as follows:
– 5K Run: Saturday, May 20 at 8:30 a.m.
– Spring Fling Festival: Saturday, May 20, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
– Live Music 10:45 a.m. to 8 p.m.
– Kids Area closes at 7 p.m.
– BBQ Cookoff: 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. (or until the BBQ runs out)
Tour of Homes: Saturday and Sunday, May 20-21, 12 to 5 p.m. each day
The festival does not require tickets to attend, but they are needed in order to participate in the 5K and Tour of Homes.
For the 5K, tickets go for $30 – $20 for kids 12 and below – which includes a tee shirt from the race and a beer/sangria stub for adults of age.
