– Hound Playground, a dog daycare and boarding facility, opens on June 16 at 251 Rio Circle, Decatur, GA.

“Hound Playground has just finished building its brand new home, a 6,000 square foot building with plenty of room for pups to run, jump, play, and snooze,” the company said in a press release. “A combination of three indoor and three outdoor play yards allows dogs to be separated by size and temperament. A large outdoor splash pad will be perfect for cooling down on those hot summer days.”

– PT Solutions announces the opening of its new downtown Decatur location. It’s located at 613 Church Street near the intersection of Commerce Drive.

“The facility, featuring state-of-the-art exercise equipment in PT Solutions’ trademark open environment, provides a variety of services, including physical, manual, and hand therapies. Its team of highly skilled therapists specialize in spinal care, pediatric orthopaedic care, balance and dizziness, sports medicine coverage, women’s health pain syndromes, and more,” a press release from the company says. “In between their personal workouts, exercise enthusiasts can visit PT Solutions for running analysis, performance enhancement, and sessions with a USA Triathlon certified coach.”

– Potential tenants of the Parkside at Mason Mill home development are invited to a VIP event on June 17 at the Emory University Conference Center. The development, which will be constructed on the site of the old Williamsburg apartments on North Jamestown Road near Emory University, will offer homes in the mid $300,000 to $600,000 range. It will replace 400-plus apartment units with “a blend of 341 luxury single-family homes, townhomes and condos.”

Attendees will have an opportunity to “learn details about the community from Pulte representatives, see video tours of select floorplans, and obtain pricing information,” according to a press release.
