A Decatur craft-beer store has settled a lawsuit alleging it infringed on another company’s trademark.

Ale Yeah! has settled the lawsuit filed against it by LMR Restaurants, based in North Carolina. The terms of the settlement were not disclosed, but owner Eddie Holley said the company won’t have to change its name.

“We engaged in mediation about a month ago and settled the lawsuit. All parties are satisfied with the results and we most certainly get to keep the name, which is a great thing,” he said.

The other details could not be disclosed, he said.

Holley added, “Safe to say that we are quite happy however and look forward to continuing to bring Decatur and the metro Atlanta our love of craft beer!”
