On Thursday evening East Lake residents noticed Atlanta Police cars and a helicopter around 6 p.m. Police were responding to a report of a carjacking that occurred outside of East Lake on Glen Iris Drive.

According to police, a man was driving a BMW when he was carjacked by two suspects. They then drove to East Lake. The vehicle had a tracking device allowing APD to monitor the vehicle.

The carjackers fled on foot when they saw police officers approaching them. One suspect was arrested and one is still at large. There were no injuries.
