This story has been updated.

Keep Atlanta Beautiful, Inc’s Community Recycling initiative is moving locations from Old 4th Ward to Edgewood on Sept. 9.

On the second Saturday of each month, 10 a.m. through 3 p.m., “all eastside metro residents” are invited to recycle with Community Recycling.

In Old 4th Ward, the Walden School was used for the recycling site, but will begin to be used as “an athletic field complex for the schools in the Grady High School cluster.” The last day to drop items off at this site will be Aug. 12.

Moving forward, Coan Middle School’s back parking lot will be the new stomping grounds, located at 1550 Hosea L. Williams Drive, NE, Atlanta, Ga. 30317.

To view the list of accepted recyclables, visit www.keepatlantabeautiful.org/recycle/.

Correction: The original press release said the location was in Kirkwood. As several readers had pointed out, the location of the recycling event will actually be in Edgewood. It is close to the borderline with Kirkwood. This story has been updated with the correct information.
