Tech startup coming to Decatur Makers

By Ellie Ritter, contributor
On Wednesday, August 2, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., entrepreneurs from the Ohio Makerbus, who are a part of the StartupBus competition, will be at Decatur Makers to join the Atlanta startup and maker communities and work on their prototypes.
According to its website, StartupBus is a national organization that “fosters innovation by sponsoring bus trips across the country and around the world.” Groups of entrepreneurs take a road trip and launch their own startup in just 72 hours.
The latest trip includes a Maker Bus from Ohio and heading toward its final stop in New Orleans. On Wednesday morning, they’ll come to the Decatur Makers, a local makerspace, for a pit stop.
The public is invited to come and meet these makers, learn more about Decatur Makers and Startup Bus and even provide feedback about their project. Decatur Makers is located at 605 W. Ponce deLeon Avenue, Decatur, Georgia 30030.
