On Saturday, Oct. 7, the Woodlands Garden and Skyland Trail is putting on the seventh annual Fairies in the Garden.

This is a free and family-friendly event, lasting from 2 to 4:30 p.m., at the Woodlands Garden, which is located at 932 Scott Boulevard in Decatur.

Artists from Skyland Trail are making and hiding tiny houses for attendees to find in the woods. Decatur’s own Little Shop of Stories bookstore will be leading story time during the Fairy Celebration.

In addition, there will be arts and crafts, music, the Grand Summoning of the Fairies, and a trail parade. Attendees are invited to sport a costume.
