On Thursday, Sept. 14, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., City Schools of Decatur is hosting Ideas + Design, the “first community-wide presentation regarding design at the new Talley Street Elementary School.”

The plans for the night include:

– Revisit feedback from pre-design stages of the project

– Look over the constraints/opportunities of the school site

– Review planning studies and design options

– Activities to gauge attendees’ reactions to design plans

The event will take place in Decatur High School’s Performing Arts Center, located at 310 N. McDonough Street.
