Traveling around the Decatur area will be pretty hectic over the next few days as road crews work to remove debris blocking streets in the city of Decatur and DeKalb County.

The chaos is the parting gift left by the tropical storm formerly known as Hurricane Irma.

Decatur published this map showing the current road closures in the city as of 10 a.m., Sept. 14.

The city says, “GA Power is working at West Ponce de Leon Avenue near East Parkwood Road and have the eastbound lane blocked. The westbound lane is open, please use caution.”
