Two Decatur restaurants have closed their doors.

Truman Tavern announced this morning that they “are now permanently closed.”

“Thank you to all of our patrons for showing us so much love,” the company said in a Facebook post.

Truman opened about one year ago at 123 East Court Square. The space was formerly occupied by Colbeh Persian Kitchen & Bar.

Tomorrow’s News Today also reported that Figo has closed its Decatur location.

“Local sources indicate the restaurant quietly closed [last] week with no advance notice to patrons,” Tomorrow’s News Today reported. “A sign on the restaurant’s door confirms that the restaurant is permanently closed and directs patrons to the company’s location off Moreland Avenue in the Edgewood Retail District.”
