Decatur to host “What to Do When You See Blue” public forum this week

On Wednesday, Oct. 11, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Decatur Recreation Center, the Decatur Police Department and DeKalb County Juvenile Court are hosting a public forum called, “What to Do When You See Blue.”

The forum is designed for both youth and adults to teach the community about interacting with law enforcement.

The agenda for the forum includes discussions and safety tips from Decatur Police Department, DeKalb Police Department, DeKalb Sheriff’s Office, and Juvenile Division of DeKalb’s District Attorney’s Office officials.

The Decatur Recreation Center is located at 231 Sycamore Street, and parking is open for attendees at the Decatur Library.
