UPDATE: DeKalb County says Irvin Way will be closed on Oct. 26 due to filming

DeKalb County says that Irvin Way between DeKalb Industrial Way and Winn Way will be closed to through traffic between 8 a.m. and midnight on Oct. 26.

The original date was Oct. 25 and the original time of the closure was noon to midnight, but the county revised that schedule on Tuesday.

The closure is to accommodate filming for a truTV show, which does not yet have a name, according to Jay Elgin, key assistant location manager for Third Voice Production.

“Road closure and detour signs will be placed in the area to advise motorists of traffic restrictions,” a press release from the county says.
