Developer Scott Selig passes away

Scott Selig, executive vice president of Selig Enterprises, passed away on Oct. 27 after a battle with cancer.
He was 47. Selig was involved in numerous projects and is known locally for being involved with the Suburban Plaza redevelopment, anchored by a Walmart.
“During his 17 year tenure at Selig, Scott’s hard work, dedication, and leadership have been noted and recognized throughout the business and civic community,” his obituary says. “Scott has served on the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors, Midtown Alliance, Buckhead Community Improvement District, The Council for Quality Growth, City of Atlanta Workforce Development and the Buckhead Coalition.”
