On Saturday, Oct. 28, from 1 to 4 p.m., Atlantans are invited to bring their dogs to the first WoodRUFF Bark Halloween Dog Parade & Festival.

This free event is on Woodruff Park’s main lawn and the announcement says it will be “fun and frivolity for pups and people alike.”

Dogs are invited to participate in a costume parade followed by an award ceremony as well as enjoy “local, pet-centric vendors” such as King of Pups. Dog owners will have the opportunity to enjoy food from Glory Dogs Hotdog Stand, Gekko Sushi Food Truck, and Tempted Palate Food Truck.

Looking for another dog? Lifeline Animal Project will be at the event with dogs ready to be fostered or adopted.
