The LifeLine Animal Project is offering a free veterinary care event on Nov. 4 to help pet owners.

Healthy Pets DeKalb will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Shoal Creek Park II, 3643 Glenwood Road in Decatur.

“No registration is necessary for this first-come, first-served event,” the even announcement says. “Participants should bring dogs on a leash and cats safely contained in a carrier.”

Free services and items offered include vaccinations, vouchers for free spaying or neutering, microchipping, pet registration, pet food, collars and leashes.

“Last year, over 1800 pets received free vaccines and services at LifeLine’s Healthy Pets events, which aim to keep pets out of the shelter and with the families who love them,” the announcement says. “For more information on Healthy Pets DeKalb, please call 404-292-8800 or contact [email protected].”
