Lilly Chin, a robotics Ph.D. student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology who hails from greater Decatur, will compete on the “Jeopardy!” Tournament of Champions semifinals on Monday, Nov. 13.

Chin, who is the daughter of Emory Professors, received a $100,000 grand prize for winning the show’s College Championship earlier this year.

After winning, she said, “The extra money will definitely make my life as a starving grad student much more comfortable.”

 The show airs on WXIA-TV, 11 Alive, and starts at 7:30 p.m.
