DeKalb County Police say that a 22-year-old man lost his life because he cut someone else off in traffic.

According to police, around 11:55 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 6, 22-year-old Cedric Williams was driving on Memorial Drive when he turned to go south on Columbia Drive. There were two passengers in his car.

“The victim turned onto Columbia Drive, cutting off another vehicle,” a spokesperson for DeKalb County Police said. “The suspect vehicle pulled alongside the victim’s car and began shooting. Mr. Williams died instantly. His car left the road, then crashed into a house. No one in the house was injured. The passengers are both female, 20 years old and 39 years old. We don’t have a suspect vehicle description at the moment. The investigation is ongoing.”
