Avondale Estates has Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting.

This award is presented by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada, and this certificate ranks at “the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting,” according to a recent press release.

In addition, the “individual(s) or departments designated by the government as primarily responsible” received an Award of Financial Reporting Achievement. Director of Finance Kenneth Turner accepted the award.
