Sign up to volunteer for the 15th annual MLK Jr. Service Project

The Decatur MLK Jr. Service Project returns Jan. 13 through Monday Jan. 15 to help local senior citizens.
This the service project’s 15th year. It’s aimed at helping elderly and less-affluent Decatur residents stay in their homes.
Volunteers are needed for “making needed repairs to homes and doing yard work for elderly homeowners.”
These are the following available volunteer time slots:
– Saturday, Jan. 13: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
– Saturday, Jan. 13: 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
– Sunday, Jan. 14: 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
– Monday, Jan. 15: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
– Monday, Jan. 15 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Following the long-weekend, all who volunteered are invited to a cookout at 5 p.m. on Jan. 15 in the Oakhurst Solarium.
