As a reminder for DeKalb residents, sanitation collection will be picked up a day later than normal in observance of President’s Day.

Meaning, for the week of Feb. 19, locals should look for garbage, recycling, and yard trimming collection between Tuesday and Friday.

All City of Decatur offices will be closed on Feb. 19 for President’s Day, too. In addition, the third City Commission meeting, which was scheduled for Monday, Feb. 19, will be on Tuesday, Feb. 20, at 7:30 p.m.
