Westchester’s third annual Battle of the Bands returns Friday, March 23, and tickets are now on sale.

Battle of the Bands is a fundraiser for Westchester and is held at the Avondale Towne Cinema, located at 106 North Avondale Road.

Five local bands – Flock of Eagles, Transmit and Receive, Kickin’ Edgar, The Squirrelheads, and The Benders – will go head-to-head for the golden wolverine trophy.

The battle will be emceed by Yvonne Monet and judged by celebrity judges:

– Tammy Dammann, singer for The Dammages
– Dr. David Dude, City Schools of Decatur Superintendent
– Tony Powers, Decatur City Commissioner, Intown Ace Hardware
– Mark Trojanowki, drummer for Sister Hazel
– Shani Sammons, Board of Governors for The Recording Academy Marketer
