Author and historian Andrea Wulf will visit Agness Scott to read from her best-selling book, “The Invention of Nature: Alexander von Humboldt’s New World.”

The reading will take place Tuesday, March 27 at 7 p.m. in Campbell Hall, Frances Bailey Graves Auditorium, 141 E. College Avenue, Decatur, GA 30030. It is free and open to the public.

Released in 2015, the non-fiction book’s subject is Prussian naturalist Alexander von Humboldt, whose scientific travels and interdisciplinary presentation of research findings revolutionized science and laid the foundation for the concept of ecology.
