Jan Lauten was recently promoted to position of Executive Director of the Decatur Family YMCA.

She’s worked with the organization for 21 years and in 2006 was named the center’s associate executive director.

“Jan has been invaluable in her leadership of the Decatur Family YMCA,” Bill McKoy, senior VP of operations for the YMCA of Metro Atlanta, said in a press release. “I congratulate her in this new role, and know she and the branch board will continue to ensure the highest levels of service and community impact are met.”

The Decatur YMCA has undergone an expansion in recent years, adding 3,500 square feet to the facility, which includes a 3,000 square foot wellness center.
