Decatur Farmers Market open starting April 11

On Wednesday, April 11, the Decatur Farmers Market will open for its main market season, according to an announcement from the city.
Operating from 4 – 7 p.m., the weekly Wednesday market will offer fresh, organically grown produce, meats, bread, cheeses and other artisan foods, all made locally. The opening will feature live music and a kids’ booth with family-friendly activities.
Then, on Saturday, April 14, the regular Saturday market will celebrate its reopening with a ribbon cutting by Mayor Patti Garrett. The Saturday market will run weekly from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Both markets are located on the lawn of the First Baptist Church at 308 Clairemont Ave., with free parking in the church parking lot.
