On April 15, the City of Decatur and the Better Together Advisory Board are coming together to host a Community Reflection from 3 to 5 p.m.

This Community Reflection is in recognition of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s assassination, which occurred 50 years ago on April 4.

As stated in a recent press release, “The community is invited to join in a reflection on the past, recognition of the present, and a conversation that will serve as an inspiration for the future of Decatur.”

The event will be held on the Trinity Terrace at the Beacon Municipal Complex, located at 420 W. Trinity Place.
