Decatur to host movie feature night on West Ponce de Leon Avenue

On Friday, March 23, Decatur will turn West Ponce de Leon Avenue into one big outdoor movie theater for a night.

The event will begin at 6 p.m. with a round of Decatur trivia, featuring prizes for winners. The movie “Wonder” will start at 6:45 p.m. The event is free to the public, but attendees should register online and bring their own chairs.

Decatur is attempting to again turn West Ponce de Leon Avenue into a  movie venue for a wonderful spring night. Grab dinner at a nearby restaurant, bring your blankets and chairs, and spend an evening hanging out with friends and family while watching the heart-warming story of Auggie Pullman in Wonder.

The evening will kick off with a fun opportunity to win some prizes playing Decatur trivia at 6:00 p.m. The evening’s feature film will start at 6:45 p.m. Come out early to snag your spot and do some shopping. Throughout the evening West Ponce businesses will be offering some great spring specials, and the Decatur Boosters will be selling popcorn for the event.
