DeKalb Entertainment Commission and ChooseATL named R&B singer Cydnei Chyan as the winner of ChooseATL Tracklanta a competition for amateur musicians living in the Atlanta area.

As the winner, Chyan will perform at ChooseATL House at SXSW in Texas on March 12. In addition, she will get the chance to record with Bill Zimmerman at Callanwolde’s new recording and mixing studio at the Rick Baker School of Music and Music Recording.

“It is thrilling to have been chosen for Tracklanta. I have been wanting to perform on the SXSW stage for years so this is literally a dream come true for me,” Chyan, 23, said in a recent press release. “Music is real life for me, so I’m excited to help represent Atlanta and share my music and thoughts with the world.”
