Numerous Decatur residents were briefly without power on Monday morning, March 26, according to posts on social media.

The Decatur Police Department said a transformer blew on Scott Boulevard between Coventry Road and Merrill Avenue. Georgia Power was on the scene Monday morning and the Police Department said power would soon be restored.
