DeKalb County sanitation services to be closed on May 28 for Memorial Day

The DeKalb County Sanitation Department.
On Monday, May 28, the DeKalb County Sanitation Division will be closed for Memorial Day, so all residential garbage, recycling, and yard trimming collection will be delayed by one day.
The week’s trash pickup schedule will be as follows:
– Monday, May 28: Memorial Day observed. No sanitation collection service.
– Tuesday, May 29: Residential customers whose regularly scheduled collection day is Monday,
May 28, will be serviced on Tuesday, May 29.
– Wednesday, May 30: Residential customers whose regularly scheduled collection day is Tuesday,
May 29, will be serviced on Wednesday, May 30.
– Thursday, May 31: Residential customers whose regularly scheduled collection day is
Wednesday, May 30, will be serviced on Thursday, May 31.
– Friday, June 1: Residential customers whose regularly scheduled collection day is Thursday,
May 31, will be serviced on Friday, June 1.
All DeKalb Sanitation services will reopen for normal business hours on Tuesday, May 29.
